Working with this client since 2014, we have provided training and consultancy services from aligning training materials, to providing programmes covering leadership development and training the trainers.
Working closely with the Operations and HR team, we reviewed all existing training materials, from inductions to different department specialisms such as intake and despatch. We then created new training manuals that were clear, informative and suitable for all learning styles. We also developed these materials so that they had uniformity across all functions of the business.
Together, we identified suitable training cross over points between departments to facilitate multi-skilling fault finding, and problem solving around health and safety, and hygiene.
Creating suitable assessments of skills and aptitude, we ensured that trainees were able to move through the training programme while providing a clear route for career progression.
The client then felt that members of their supervisory staff could benefit from attending one of our open programmes in Edinburgh last year to achieve the Leadership and Management Essentials Programme Endorsed by the ILM.
On completion of the programme, the client received great feedback from the supervisors who found it to be very relevant to their role.
Finally we carried out a train the trainer programme to members of the training team via a three day workshop to achieve the Train the Trainer Programme Endorsed by the ILM. The course was very much hands on, exploring many areas of delivering training and development, and initially, although some found it challenging, they came away from the programme with a greater awareness of training methods and techniques to use back in their workplace.
